Hair Hats.

Nagi Noda was the Japenese pop artist who created these head (master)peices. They are so exciting to look at, beautifully crafted from real hair. Noda was a visionary, from directing music videos, to TV comercials, designing bags, creating short films and winning awards with Nike.

Dark Horse, S/S shoot.

Today I shot the latest range of cuffs, headbands, and necklaces for the up and coming brand,(the one I keep blogging about) Dark Horse. Sadly, for some web display reason, the image's colour quality has dulled here so it dosen't quite reflect the actual vibrant and lively concept that it did infact have. Here are some behind the scene photos etc...

She's a Dark Horse that one.

Last week I was once again in the stable where the Dark Horse lives, where it eats its leather threaded hay and it's sequined horsey treats..... haha. Last week I was once again the in workshop of Dark Horse, the hand made leather jewellery label. I am currently closely working with the founder and leading designer Jenny Hattersley Clarke. Excitingly Jenny has asked me to shoot her Spring/Summer collection for her website, which we a preparing for now and am shooting it a date next week. Some of the new range takes inspiration from a brogue-esque/tassled leather look with neutral colours and goes back to its horsey roots with a show pony feel, but with a flash of coloured latex here and there. I love it.I have taken a few sneeky peek pictures on my phone for you to see... Watch this space!

Front Magazine @ Kontiki Studios.

Yesturday I assisted on a cover shoot for Front Magazine featuring Alex Sim-Wise and Arabella Drumond, with talented young photographer Louie Banks. It was a great day, in a wonderfully scenic location, with some exceptional beautiful ladies and a great team. I didn't have much time to get out my camera, so had to make do with taking quick snaps with my phone. Cant wait to see how the shots came out, and how they look once published at the end of this month. Thanks to Louie, Alex, Sofi, Becky and of course Front.
